Dennis Strasser

Dennis F. Strasser, Sr., age 72, of West Berlin, NJ, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara Strasser (nee Perkins), children, Dennis Strasser, Jr., Melissa Broughten (Alan), and Hillary Gibbs (Robert), grandchildren, Natalie, Tori, Brianna, Alex, Nicholas, Nyx, Nellie, Kenzie, AJ and Christopher, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Florence Strasser and his sister, Margaret Strasser.

Dennis served in the United States Navy, he was a firefighter in numerous departments throughout his life, a park ranger for Liberty State Park and a truck driver for the State Of New Jersey. He was a true outdoorsman, who took pleasure in boating, camping, and taking in the serenity nature had to offer.

His family remembers crisp snowy early mornings, piling into his truck to drive through the freshly coated Pine Barrens, soaking in the beauty before anybody else got out there. They have fond memories of Dennis' custom winter sled for his kids, a repurposed hood of a car, which brought endless joy and laughter to his family.

He will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004. The funeral service with military honors to follow at 1:00 pm.
