With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David B. Wood, of Atco, NJ who left this world on August 11, 2026, at the age of 47. Born on July 31, 1979, and raised in Riverside, NJ, David lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment to his family and community.

David was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Antoinette, and a cherished father who took immense pride in supporting his children. Whether playing golf with Grayson or cheering on Keira during her softball games, David's spirit of encouragement was a testament to his deep love and dedication to family.

A proud member of the IBEW Local 351, David's work as an electrician was not just a profession, but a reflection of his skill and determination. He was also a member of VFW Post 3020.

David is survived by his wife, Antoinette (nee Iavecchia), children, Grayson and Keira, parents, Steven and Rita Wood (nee Sciacca), father in-law, Al Iavecchia, sister, Allie Wood (Todd), sister in-law, Meg Deal (Brian), uncles, Gregg Wood, and Sal Sciacca (Mary Lou), aunt, Diane Makin (Paul), and cousins, Sandra, Nina, Marea, Rose, Nicholas, and Noah, his Godson, Miles Carey, as well as many friends and co-workers. Dave is pre-deceased by his grandparents, Rose and Louis Sciacca, Ronald and Dorothy Wood, his mother in-law, Peggy Iavecchia and aunt, Karen Wood.

Family and friends are invited to attend David's viewing on Sunday, August 16th, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004, with an additional viewing at the funeral home the following day, Monday, August 17th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The eulogy will take place at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 315 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ at 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place after Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin. NJ.
