Darlene Palmer Esbensen

 Darlene Palmer Esbensen (Nee DiCicco), age 67, of Berlin, NJ passed away surrounded by her family and closest friends on Thursday, May 21st, 2026. She leaves behind her beloved children, Christopher DiCicco (Luisa DiCicco), Lauren Palmer (Tony Lopez), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Carli, Allie, Luciano, Aurora, Giovanni, Natalia, Nova and great grandchild, Ezra. Her sister Diane Toscano (Vincent Toscano). As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and amazing friends. Darlene is predeceased by her husband, Frank Esbensen, her parents, Ralphael and Rita DiCicco, her brother Ralphie DiCicco, and her sister Linda Geary.

Darlene lived and breathed for her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world and the greatest joy of her life. Raised in an Italian household in Lindenwold, Darlene carried her strong sense of family, loyalty, and love into everything she did.

She attended Camden County College, where she earned her associate degree in Liberal Arts. Darlene had a huge heart for animals and, alongside her family, rescued and fostered many dogs over the years, giving countless animals loving homes and second chances.

She found happiness in life's simple pleasures - days spent at the beach, game nights filled with laughter among friends and family, and relaxing by the pool with a drink in hand. More than anything, Darlene will be remembered for her fierce love, unwavering loyalty, and the way she always showed up for the people she loved.

Family and friends are invited to attend Darlene's visitation on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004 with eulogies to follow at 8:00 pm.
