Crystal Fay Shinkunas (nee Davis) was born February 9, 1993, an Aquarius star child. After a battle with an illness that she fought like a champion, she succumbed on September 11, 2026, and is now in the loving arms of our Lord.
Crystal now joins her father, Glenn J. Davis, Sr., who recently also passed, Uncle Jimmy Davis, and her grandparents, Frank and Maria Haberland and Anne and Jim Davis in Heaven.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Catherine Seitzinger, stepfather, Chalie Seitzinger, two siblings, Glenn Davis Jr. & Malina Noelle Davis.
Most notably, she leaves behind her two beautiful daughters from her marriage to Matthew Shinkunas, Amelia Ann Shinkunas, age 8 and Natalie Marie Shinkunas, age 5.
As a child, Crystal loved Barbies, playing house, riding bikes, singing, dancing & cheerleading. She is our little princess. It was at a young age, we all knew how much she wanted to be a mom and start a family of her own. Her daughters are her light on this earth.
Having a German nationality on her mother's side, Crystal embraced her heritage and completed her junior year of high school abroad in Germany through a school program with the Rotary Club.
She graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University and became a very passionate German teacher. She went above and beyond for Humanity and her students being an activist and helping students achieve their goals.
Crystal always spreads hope & cheer, support & insight, love & compassion. She touched the hearts of many students' friends and family.
She was always there to help whenever it was needed and now, we must continue that kindness in honor of her! Crystal's wish was to be cremated and planted with a tree.
