Claire A. Vrana

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claire A. Vrana, who left us peacefully on February 17, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on January 11, 1936, in Camden, NJ to James and Evelyn (née Graff) O'Neill. Claire spent her life nurturing her family and creating a warm and welcoming home.

Claire was a proud homemaker who dedicated her time to raising her three children. Her loving spirit and infectious laughter filled their lives with joy. Known for her love of playing solitaire, working through puzzle books, and living at the shore, Claire found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She had a special knack for decorating for Christmas and enjoyed sharing those festive moments with her family and friends.

Claire's keen interest in the world around her was evident in her fondness for watching aquatic birds and her commitment to staying informed with Fox News. She cherished the time spent over lunch with friends, often enjoying a refreshing Long Island Iced Tea. Her spirited personality also shone through as she took on the delightful task of organizing high school reunions, where she gathered friends together to celebrate their shared memories.

She is survived by her three children, Bruce Vrana and his wife Jenny, Michelle Gameron and her husband Allan, and Jennifer Vrana and her wife Suz; her brother, Doug O'Neill; three grandchildren, Robert Vrana (Caroline), Laura Vrana (Matt Howard), Jessica Czar (Patrick) and five great-grandchildren.

Claire is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Charles Vrana; and grandson, Joey Gameron.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am at the Atco United Presbyterian Church, 2259 Atco Ave, Atco, NJ 08004.

The family would like to thank the warm and friendly staff from Arbor Terrace and Vitality Hospice for taking such good care of Claire.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire's memory may be made to the Atco United Presbyterian Church or to Vitality Hospice.
