Christopher Ashiotes 1960 - 2025

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Ashiotes, beloved husband, father, and "Pop Pop," on October 21st, 2025.

Christopher was the devoted husband of Lori Ashiotes (Skok), and the proud father of Jennifer Wilson (Tim), Christopher Ashiotes (Briana), and Michael Ashiotes (Sara). He was the cherished Pop Pop to Colin, Jameson, Gianna, Leonello, Stella, Nicolo, and Zoe who brought endless joy and laughter to his life.

Born to the late Stacy and Stanley Ashiotes, Christopher was a loving brother to Denise (Freeman), Sofia (Fowler), and Maria (Schanze). He will be deeply missed by his many cousins, extended family, and countless friends.

Christopher was proud to be a first-generation American, born in the United States to parents who immigrated from Cyprus. He carried his Cypriot heritage with pride, embracing its traditions, language, and love of family, while building a life rooted in hard work and opportunity.

A dedicated member of the Waterford Township community, "Coach Chris" was known for his years of coaching soccer and for the positive impact he made on so many young players. His kindness, humor, and competitive spirit was contagious to everyone who knew him.

Christopher will be remembered for his love of family, the laughter he brought to every room he entered, and of course his love for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He lived his life as a caricature of himself, mixed with a bit of Rodney Dangerfield and Bruce Springsteen. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in all who were lucky enough to know him.

As Bruce Springsteen once sang, "Tramps like us, baby, we were born to run." Chris has now taken his final run-free, at peace, and forever in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, November 9th, with a viewing from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, followed by a service at 4:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco NJ.
