Carmalita Tyler-Williams, age 47, of Lindenwold, NJ, passed away on May 31, 2025.
Born in Chester, PA, to Alfred Wood and Sharon Tyler. She previously worked in housekeeping at the Wingate Hotel in Voorhees, NJ.
Carmalita was known for her love of reading, dancing, and her sharp sense of humor. Her loving heart and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Williams; her cherished son, Kenneth Williams Jr.; her devoted mother, Sharon Tyler; and her loving siblings: Ralph Tyler (Barbara), Kenneth Wood (Shante), Keith Wood (Lisa), and Conetta Tyler (Antonio Rivera). She also leaves behind her Godchild, River Niedzwiadek Tyler-Ali; her mother- and father-in-law, Marcella and Murmond Williams; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Williams, Crystal Williams, and Camille Williams; dear friend, Yvonne Berry; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Alfred Wood.
Carmalita's life was a beautiful example of love, strength, and kindness. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
