Bonnie Malamut

Feb 15, 1965 — Jul 4, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bonnie Malamut, of Atco, NJ, beloved wife, mother, and friend, who left us on July 4th, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on February 15, 1965, in Camden, New Jersey, Bonnie was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her.

Bonnie was a highly educated woman with a remarkable artistic eye and a passion for creating. Her love for crafting inspired her to found Ishkabibble Candles and Gifts, a business born from her creativity and dedication. Even after she stepped away from running her business, Bonnie never stopped nurturing her creative spirit, always immersed in a new project or craft to keep her imagination alive.

Bonnie graduated Haddonfield High School in 1983, where she went on to pursue her BA in Communications at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. While she was pregnant with her second child, Bonnie continued to pursue her master's in business/communications. She was incredibly talented and intelligent; her family would always look to her to have the answer for everything. She always knew all the right words to say; her words of wisdom will be so greatly missed.

Beyond her artistic talents, she was a fighter, facing life's challenges with strength and resilience. Bonnie's legacy is one of creativity, determination, and an enduring spark that touched everyone who knew her. She battled cancer twice, and continued to fight, even after being in cancer remission, with lung disease and kidney disease. She was strong and resilient until her very last moment. Her strength and perseverance were an inspiration to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of creativity, courage, and a reminder to always keep the flame of passion alive.

She is survived by her loving husband, Marc Malamut; her devoted daughter, Lauren Malamut; her cherished son, Justin Malamut, 3 sisters; her best friend, Luann, and her three cats, Maddie, Oliver, and Daisy. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Barbara Shrader.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home.
