Bonnie Hunt

Bonnie Lynn Hunt (Nee Underwood), 71, of Collings Lakes, NJ passed away peacefully January 4, 2026, at Inspira Hospital of Vineland surrounded by her family.

Bonnie was raised in Bellmawr, NJ and graduated from Camden County Technical School's Gloucester Campus in 1972. Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who approached every role in her life with dedication and pride. She excelled in each of her professional pursuits, beginning at entry level and advancing through hard work and perseverance into bigger roles.

Family was always her greatest joy; she never missed a holiday, milestone, or gathering, and was endlessly supportive and proud of those she loved. Bonnie and her husband of 52 years were inseparable-true partners who built a beautiful, simple life rooted in love and shared companionship. As a keeper of memories, she had a passion for tracing family history and preserving the stories of those who came before. Her home was always open, a pot of coffee was always available, and she was always ready to hear everything going on in your life. She made everyone feel welcomed, remembered, and deeply valued.

Her legacy will live on in the love that she poured into those who meant the most to her. Beloved wife and best friend of John Hunt Sr., devoted mother to John Hunt Jr. (Nichole), Christopher Hunt (Angela), and Matthew Hunt (Jennifer); daughter of the late Thomas E. Sr. and Floreda Underwood; dear sister to Carl Underwood (Linda), Robert Underwood (Kathy), Michael Underwood (Harriette), David Underwood (Joanne), Diane Stickley and the late Thomas E., Jr. ; proud Mommom and Great Mommom to Shauna Schneeman (Shane), Jessica Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Emmet Schneeman, Savannah Hunt, and Gavin Schneeman. Bonnie also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

At Bonnie's request, a private celebration of her life will be held. The family is grateful for your love, prayers, and understanding during this time.
