It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Param Pujya Mr. Bhikhubhai M. Saraiya on Sunday, October 26th, 2025. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Hasumati, beloved children(spouse), Ragini (Vijay), Parul (Jagdish) and Rakesh, beloved grandchildren(spouse/fiancé), Shveta (Josh), Akash, Shruti (Aditya), Sagar (Priya), Avinash (Pari) and Vinay. He also leaves behind his beloved extended Saraiya Family, Shah Family, and Desai Family.
Param Pujya Mr. Bhikhubhai Saraiya was born in Jaipur, India in 1934 to Manilal and Kashiben Saraiya. In 1956, he earned his Master's degree in Chemistry and thereafter worked as a Senior Analytical Chemist with E.R. Squibb & Sons LLC subsidiary for almost three decades. While he was busy raising his family, he also held multiple community positions. He was most proud of his leadership roles in Gujarat Samaj in Vadodara, India. He also took great pride in helping others in need of help, family/friends/strangers alike.
He emigrated to USA in 1978 with minimal means and worked arduously as a Senior Analytical Chemist at PAR pharmaceuticals to support and mentor his Children. He took tremendous pride once again this time in USA in helping others, taking time out of his busy schedule oftentimes. He always stressed the importance of family values and family cohesiveness. He deeply cherished every moment spent with family and friends. He retired from work in 2005 at the age of 71.
After retirement, he continued to mentor and inspire loved ones. He began a passion for finance and investing which he cherished until the very last moment.
Relatives and friends have already been invited by his beloved Children. His funeral will be performed according to traditional Hindu rites and officiated by Hindu priest. Viewing and Puja will be held privately. The livestream and recording of the service will begin at 11:00 am on October 31st, 2025, at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004.
May the departed soul rest in Eternal Peace. His presence will be deeply missed by all however his wisdom will bring profound and everlasting memories.
We pray to Lord Shri Krishna and Lord Shri Swaminarayan to give him eternal bliss.
