Bernice Finkbeiner

April 13, 1952 — August 11, 2025

Bernice Doris Finkbeiner (nee Good) (nee Buffington), lovingly known as "Buffy" passed away on Monday August 11th, 2025, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family.

She is predeceased by her parents, Lester and Alice Good, and her sister, Alice Cecelia Good.

Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Frank Finkbeiner aka "Coach Frank", her children, Lester Buffington (Lisa) of Atco, Alice DeWitt (Bobby) of Berlin, and Susan Fletcher (Matt) of Galloway, grandchildren, Lester Buffington "Buzz", Christopher Shoester, Brandi Buffington, Matthew Flecther, Cody Flecther, Jack Flecther, Robert DeWitt, Jovie DeWitt and Alicia Schweibinz. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Aubree Buffington, Bailey Croneberger, Lester Buffington, III "Bubba", Ryan Croneberger, Matthew Flecther, III, Wyatt Flecther and Hailey Flecther, siblings, Lester Good (Diane), John Good, Barbara Good Rowe, and Brenda Mckenna as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bernice was a CNA at Greenbriar in Hammonton and was a bus aid for T & L Transportation. She was a member of The Daughters of the King. In her free time, she loved watching the Hallmark channel and visiting the shore. Besides her husband, the other love of her life was her dog, Momo. She adored the characters Tinkerbell and Pinocchio. You could always find Bernice with her large cup of ice and water. She was a great collector of obscurities. Most of all, she enjoyed nothing more than being with her family and filling the room with love and laughter.

Buffy was known for her wild spirit, sense of humor and generous heart. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory. Service details to be announced shortly, please check back for more service details. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice's memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the Diabetes Foundation.
