Benjamin Ruggeri

Benjamin Ruggeri, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2026, in West Deptford, NJ, at the age of 89. He was born on June 4th, 1937, in Camden, NJ.

Ben took great joy in homing pigeons, a passion that not only provided him with immense satisfaction but also filled his home with stories of adventure and companionship. His dedication to this hobby reflected his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Eleanor Ruggeri, and his sons, Ben Ruggeri, Michael Ruggeri and Patrick Ruggeri. Benjamin was predeceased by his parents, Gus and Helen Ruggeri and his son, Brian Ruggeri.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory in Atco, NJ. Inurnment will take place privately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ.
