Barbara Schoener

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Schoener, aged 78, of Lindenwold, New Jersey, on October 30, 2025. Born on June 9, 1947, in Camden, NJ, Barbara dedicated over 20 years of her life to serving the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development as an Appeal Tribunal Secretary. Known for her kindness, empathy, and unwavering dedication.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Michelle Schoener; her son, John Weber; step-son, Bryan Smith and his wife Leanne; her step-grandson, Evander Smith; her sister, Donna Worthington; her brothers, Michael Edwards and Rodney Fiske; her niece, Alexis Rossiter; and her adopted grandson, CJ Thomkin who affectionately called her "Grandma Barb."

Barbara was predeceased by her wife, Nancy Smith; her father, Julius Edwards; her mother, Mary (Johnson) Edwards; her brother, Jack Edwards and step-daughter, Susanne Feret.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lindenwold Moose Lodge, located at 2425 S. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, NJ 08021.
