Barbara Eileen Hollis

With deep sorrow, we announce that Barbara Eileen Hollis (née Hamilton) passed away on October 3, 2026, at age 90.

Barbara is survived by her brother, Everald (Peter) Hamilton; niece Alicia Hamilton Young, nephew Brian Young; grandnieces, Tamara Young Taylor, Tanya Young Lindor and Tiana Young; sister-in-law Rebecca Hollis, brother-in-law Benjamin Hollis; goddaughters, Delice Roberson and Christine Lee Zadravec, and a host of family members and many close friends.

Barbara was predeceased in death by her beloved husband, Bernard; her mother, Kerleta McLarty; her father, Lucius Moritimer Hamilton; and her sister, Maudicer Hamilton.

Barbara was retired secretary, notary and patient transporter. She was an active member in her church. As a member of their Second Cup of Coffee Club, she enjoyed making quilts and receiving blankets for babies and people in disaster-relief areas.

Barbara will be remembered for her zest for life, love for her husband and life partner Bernard, as well as the deep bond she had with brother, nieces, extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

In accordance with her wishes, Barbara will be cremated at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory in Atco, NJ.

Funeral services start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 442 South Route 73, Berlin, NJ 08009. The service can also be viewed by clicking this LINK.
