Barbara A. Castaldi

Barbara Ann Castaldi (Stage), 81, also known to her family as Maude of Lindenwold NJ, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 9, 2025. She was the cherished wife, and soulmate of Leonard Castaldi Sr, who she met at the age of 15 with whom she shared 62 years of devoted marriage.

Barbara was the proud mother of her four children, Barbara Link (Castaldi) and her husband Thomas Link, Keri Castaldi, Leonard Castaldi, Jr. and his wife Alisha Castaldi (Zukowski) and Tara DiOrio (Castaldi) and her husband Michael DiOrio II. Loving grandmother to three granddaughters, Brittany Copes (Ponti), Brianne Castaldi, Skylar Wilmore, and doting great-grandmother to four great-grandsons. Alexander Castaldi, Mason Johnson, Armoni Willams, and Mateus Garcia.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Stage and Jean Stage (Kelly) and her three sisters, her twin Carol Petersen (Stage), Diane Angel (Stage) and Jeanne Church (Stage).

She is survived by three sisters; Patricia Wolcott (Stage), Kelly Leggett (Stage) and Denise Mcnaulty (Stage).

Barbara's life was rooted in deep love and unwavering dedication to her family-she always put them first, and her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

With a smile that could light up any room, her style and class. Barbara brought joy and comfort to those around her. She had a special talent for crocheting and sewing, and her handmade creations will be treasured for generations. She loved to cook for her family, filling their home with the comforting aromas of her kitchen. Barbara also had a passion for traveling and shopping, always seeking new experiences and memories to share with her six sisters and loved ones.

Barbara's love, strength, and grace will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 am at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
