Anne Wartko Kitson, 89, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026, in Cherry Hill, NJ.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert B. Kitson and loving mother of Robert J. Kitson (Mary Beth); Joanne Kitson (Richard) and Andrea Yasick (the late Rich Yasick).
She was a loving and proud grandmother of Robert H. Kitson; Abigail Rominger (Sean); RJ Gammon; Jeff Gammon; Chris Gammon and Declan Yasick.
She was also a loving and proud great-grandmother of Finn Rominger and Noelle Rominger, along with many loved nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her brother Thomas Wartko (the late Lydia Wartko).
She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Catherine Wartko; husband Bob; brothers, Joseph, Daniel, John, Edward, Michael and Paul; sisters Geraldine, Mary, Josephine, Pauline and Kay.
Born in Jessup, Pa in 1937, Anne moved to Philadelphia as a young adult where she met Bob, her husband, dancing-an activity they both loved. She worked as a skilled secretary for various Philadelphia companies including Curtis Publishing Company, Geico Insurance and Glaxo SmithKline. She and Bob later moved to New Jersey, where she lived for the past 41 years.
Anne was strong in both her faith and love of family. All will remember her loving, detailed memories of growing up in a very large family in a small town, her ability to remember songs and jingles, taking many photos of family and her fondness for Scrabble and Jeopardy.
Throughout her life, she believed in the importance of keeping connected to family and friends, no matter how far away.
She will be so missed by so many and will be forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, call someone you love, no matter how long it's been and catch up. Anne would love it!
Funeral Services will be held privately.
