Adele L. Goodall (nee Bender), age 84, of Atco, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026. She was born in Camden, NJ, to the late William Bender and Miriam Bender (nee Pennington).
Adele worked for many years as a skilled seamstress at Atco Knitting Mill, Kessler, and Castleford, from which she retired. A woman of remarkable strength and resilience, Adele was a three-time breast cancer survivor, courageously fighting the disease since 1980. She was a proud member of the Louden Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Above all, Adele was a devoted mother and grandmother who played an important role in helping to raise her grandchildren. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Adele is predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Wilson J. Goodall, Jr., with whom she is now joyfully celebrating their 66th wedding anniversary in Heaven; her siblings, Wilhelm "Butch" Bender and Ernst "James" Bender; and her parents, William and Miriam Bender.
