Theresa Faye Faye Carty

Theresa “Faye” Carty (nee Wolverton), born May 13, 1940, passed away Saturday January 20, 2018 peacefully in her sleep. She is predeceased by her daughter Tammy Anzisi, mother Billie Hann, brothers Ross (Margie) and Billy Wolverton. Surviving is the love of her life, husband Donald “Duke” Carty, son Stan “Fuzzy” (Josie) Hackett, sisters Joan Boggs and Jane Hann, beloved grandson DJ Anzisi, stepchildren Doug and Donna, step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She waitressed most of her life, the last place she worked was Mays Landing Country Club. She enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, playing the slots, and reminiscing. She would light up a room with her laughter and sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. It will give us comfort knowing that her heart and mind will no longer cause her heartache. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 12:00 pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 290 Asbury Rd., Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234.
