For everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Robert J. Cochran (Bobby) he passed away November 22, 2020 at the age of 65. He was born on March 26, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a kind soul with a big heart. Bobby was one of God's special people. His life was not easy as he was diagnosed with diabetes in his early teens. At the end of August Bobby was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. It was heartbreaking to see him endure so much pain, but Bobby was always concerned about others and how they were doing. Bobby had a passion to help others and was a life long volunteer fireman for 51 years at Darby Fire Company #1 in Darby, PA. His other passion was raising money for the Burn Foundation. Both the fire and law enforcement communities were all very kind to him. Later in life Bobby became a resident of Caring Health Community in Mays Landing, NJ where the staff took very good care of him. This is also where he met the love of his life Michelle Whiting Cochran. Bobby was predeceased by his grandparents Paul and Rose (Healy) McGee, his mother Mary McGee Hughes and a brother James Cochran. He is survived by his siblings Nancy (William) Lugar, Kathleen (Michael) Kile, Daniel (Patricia) Cochran and Timothy Cochran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews.
