Dena Lynn Wampole

Dena L. Wampole, age 61 of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on December 20, 2023. She was born in Cherry Hill, NJ to Harry Doebrich and the late Dovie (nee Conley) Doebrich. Dena graduated from Glassboro State University with Master’s degree in Animal Husbandry. She was previously employed at Archway Programs for just shy of 30 years. While at Archway Programs, she had several different positions but her most cherished was an occupational therapist, specializing in equine therapy. Even outside of work, horses were her life. Dena will be deeply missed.

Dena is predeceased by her husband, Charles Wampole, Jr. and mother, Dovie Doebrich.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Wampole III and Austin Wampole (Gianna); father, Harry Doebrich; boyfriend, George Updegraff, Jr.; siblings, Harry Doebrich, Jr. and Leah Howe; grandchild, Lucas; and niece, Amanda Schleinkofer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ.
